Excited by this marmalade find! I’m leaning into toast and jam a lot for a petit joy. I must recommend BlackBerry and Earl Grey jam by Roots Kitchen and Cannery. And happy pre-birthday-the days are getting longer in celebration!
I saw an ad for "Bookish" and immediately thought -- this is definitely going to be in the next newsletter, ha! Also, I will be using "incandescent rage" since it perfectly describes how I'm feeling.
Ha ha ha of course!!!! I’ve been waiting for months! Didn’t get to see it last night though, hopefully this evening! ‘Incandescent’ is one of my favorite words! So is ‘illuminate’. It’s a total bummer to have to attach it to the word rage though……
It was on at 10pm on the east coast! I simply cannot start a new story at that hour, I wouldn't remember a single detail. I might let them stack up for a couple weeks so I can binge at my leisure!
Our Christmas tree is still up because every time I suggest taking it down, my husband protests. This is the first time he's ever felt this way, but if he needs to see the comfort of the Christmas tree when he gets home at night, so be it.
I'm getting ready to write a blog post about trying to make our small daily choices and tasks more pleasant, and I might add your line " if you can find a petite joy of some kind…LEAN INTO IT," properly attributed, of course!
Happy birthday, and may all your book/tea/marmalade/cozy cottage dreams come true.
Professor Richardson is a daily read to stay informed. I saw that there is a work walk out planned( in her comments) for Jan 20 at 2pm. Using our collective rage to protest is so important!
On a happier note, I absolutely love the artwork in this post! I would love to look at "Satan's Day Off" on my wall every day....it just hits the right note!
It’s really so great (the art) I would love a print of this as well. I think on Shopify there are lots of prints available of her work in all kinds of sizes

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, I appreciate! Marmalade Dreams sounds like a great book title.
Yes it does!
"if you can find a petite joy of some kind…LEAN INTO IT."

Future historians will be writing about her!

Thank you for articulating so well what so many of us are feeling. Seeing your name in my mailbox provided much-needed comfort, Thank you so much!
Thank you Noel!! So kind of you to say! Be well. Deep cleansing breaths.
I love Emily Henry! That was the first one I read.
