That Marie Antoinette tea tin is so pretty. Might have to get that for my daughter for her birthday.

Also, your comment that you don't have to have the exact thing you see in pictures, that you can just enjoy the image, is so good. You once wrote that you don't necessarily cook from all your cookbooks--sometimes you just enjoy flipping through them and enjoying the pictures. THAT BLEW MY MIND! I always feel like I'm a failure if I don't cook from my cookbooks, like I wasted money on them. This totally reframed how I look at them. Now I will allow myself to just page through them, read the little essays, and be inspired by the photos in a general sense.

It's amazing what reframing can do, isn't it? It's also amazing how much we've been conditioned to "be productive" about something, instead of just enjoying things for no other reason except to enjoy them. I enjoy photography but somehow I got it into my head that I had to monetize it years ago. Not being pressured into monetizing or 'side-hustling' our interests is one of the greatest life lessons that ever came my way!

"My husband asked me if I wanted some chocolate. I said I wanted a book." Wait you too?! 😂

I love all your suggestion. That Marie Antoinette Tin is so incredibly beautiful but my wallet weeps at the price tag so the individual sachet will do nicely thank you :) And the pancake pictures are so very inspiring. I don't have a heart-shaped pancake maker but I think it will be easy to re-create something fun just with the jam and chocolat spread ^_^ My daughter loves pancakes too! And mind you, it's so much cheaper to make them at home (and hubby won't be as grumpy to go out just to eat pancakes and jam)!
